A delivery truck slammed into another truck inside the subway of the South Road Properties (SRP) Tuesday afternoon, killing its driver and wounding four other persons.

The impact damaged six vehicles, which got stuck together like fallen dominoes. Right after the crash, motorists tried to run outside the subway because they feared an explosion.

Cebu City Police Director Ramon Melvin Buenafe told reporters he will suggest to the City Traffic Operations Management (Citom) board to reduce the speed limit in the tunnel. The current speed limit is 60 kilometers per hour.
